#42 Jen Waterman
6' Forward
Wisconsin Dells, Wi
1989-93

Jen Waterman was the type of player second tier programs need.  She was not recruited by other major programs and probably didn't have Big 10 skills.  But she was a big, strong player who loved the game.  And she worked.  When she graduated, she had developed into a solid Big 10 player with a decent all-around game.  She rarely had more ability than her opponent but she was rarely outworked or outhustled.  She had a nice shooting touch, especially from long-range and was good rebounder for her size.  Basically, she was a kid who got the most out of her abilities.  You can't ask for more.
