#21
Theresa Huff
5'9 Forward/Center
Milwaukee, Wi
1979-83
When discussing players of past years, it is
common to wonder if they could compete in the current game. With Theresa
Huff, there is no question. She would be a star today. Theresa was a
5'9 post player with incredible jumping ability. No one has come close to
her career rebounding record and it may stand forever. She and Robin
Threatt were the two best pure athletes to play for the Badgers. Even
after 20 years, some feel Theresa Huff was the best ever to play at
Wisconsin. While I don't agree, there were only two or three that were
better. Her # 21 jersey is the only one ever retired by the women's
program. The lack of honors after is her name is reflective of the
obscurity of women's basketball when she played, not of her ability
