Kelley Paulus
5'11 Shooting Guard
La Crosse, Wi
1996-2000
If a basketball player has to have one skill, shooting the ball is the one to have. Kelley Paulus came to the Badgers with a reputation as a shooter. That was her primary role for four years at Wisconsin. She was a decent athlete who overall game improved as she progressed at Wisconsin. Unfortunately, as her game got better, her shooting declined. Kelley was an emotional player who was a three year captain. Although she was a solid player who started for most of her career, she should have been better. Probably not a lot, but definitely better.
Honors:
1997: all-Big 10 Freshman Team
1996: Miss Wisconsin basketball
Currently: working at WISC TV in Madison and running marathons
