#10 Keisha Anderson

5'7 Guard
Racine, Wis
1994-97

Keisha Anderson was a Parade All-American in high school who originally attended Arizona.  After playing one season there she transferred to Wisconsin.

She stepped in had an immediate, huge impact on the Badger team.  A lightening quick point-guard, she could dominate a game defensively.  Offensively, she was a slasher who did not have a reliable jump shot.  She preferred passing to shooting.  When fellow guard Katie Voigt went down with an acl in their senior season, Andersons forced to concentrate more on her own offense.  She responded by averaging just under 20 points a game, although she was unhappy for most of the season.  She was an emotional player, whose emotions sometimes got in the way of her play.

Despite playing only three years at Wisconsin, she finished with more steals and assists than any player in Badger history.  Although Tamara Moore would later break both marks, it took her four years to do so.
